The selection of a fishing rod is a difficult thing to do. If you have the money for a fishing rod for each type of fishing you do, then it's not that hard. Most of us, however, are not so lucky.

Most of us go to the sporting goods store and choose a combination of rod and reel. These are great, but really more difficult to refine the selection. For the beginner, this is not a bad way to go. Try to get a bar that is between six and seven meters long, and the action is no longer normal. Likely to be a coil which is open-face reel.

Now, after fishing with this team for a couple of years, or if you want to go up and have a better rod and reel. If you still want a bar to make the most of your fishing should consider what type of fishing you do. If it does, mainly trout, spinney ray and low, I recommend a bar of the same size that I had now only consider graphite rods. They do not bend and bounce as fiberglass, but are very sensitive to vibrations. You can also consider going to a bar of light work and have a little more fun to play the fish. You might even consider going to a micro action bar. Now, it's a blast when you catch a fish on it. Obviously, the micro rod action will be shorter than usual, but it's worth the fun you will have.

If most fishing for larger fish, then I suggest buying two bars. One of the smaller trout, bass and perch and the other for the largest salmon and trout. However, when picking a rod salmon still want to choose a bar that is heavy on the action. You do not want to lose the fish, but you always want to have some fun during his capture. Unless you are getting a good flow can be maintained with a spinning reel.

Now, if you really want to get challenged, choose a fishing rod and reel. This is another type of fishing altogether. It's not as difficult as it seems, it just takes a little practice. You always have two coils mother and the different types of fishing. This type of fishing is however large. I went fishing with a guide and once I walked in the capture of 10 to 15 pounds of pink salmon on a fly rod. It was a blast.
If only I had some hard and fast rules on picking a fishing pole, but really do not see as necessary. Just pick one and go fishing. This is the only rule that I have. Enjoy!
